On 23rd September, 2020, Ekiti State Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (EK-RAAMP) advertised, in one national and local dailies newspaper, requesting for Bids for the construction of 25.55km rural roads in the State. Submission of bids ended at noon on 13th October and opening of the bids started immediately.
The bids were opened in the presence of representatives of contractors who submitted bids, representative of Federal Project Monitoring Unit of RAAMP “Engr Godwin Unoh”, observers from the State Ministry of Agric and Food Security, NEWMAP, State Bureau of Public Procurement and EKRAAMP SPIU tender committee-members.
The bidding was grouped into three lots. The lots are as follows:
Lot 1: Construction of Ago Aduloju - Kajola Road (5.20Km) and construction of Imesi - Kosomolate - Ipole Road (4.90Km);
Lot 2: Construction of FMS Farm, Oke Ako Road (3.55Km) and construction of Itaji – Imojo – Orisunmibare Road (4.50Km);
Lot 3: Construction of Iyin – Odo Oro – Aroto Road (5.00Km) and construction of Ogotun – Alagbede Road (2.40Km).
Thirty three (33) companies collected the bids for the total lots out of which only twenty three (23) companies submitted. Find the details of those submitted as follows:
For Lot 1, nine (9) companies submitted, six (6) for Lot 2 and eight (8) for Lot 3 the bids.
The evaluation of the bidders is ongoing and the outcome would be communicated in due course.
